Product Technician
MITS seeks a Product Technician to join the company's Professional Services team. The Product Technician will install MITS software on customer servers within a multi-value database environment, troubleshoot hypercube builds, and help customers with queries. This position will report to the Professional Services Manager from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the MITS main offices in Seattle, WA.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems required
- Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring the exercise of independent judgment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, successfully meeting schedules and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with a smile and sense of humor
Responsibilities
- Install and configure MITS software on customer servers under the direction of a Product Specialist
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity to customer sites
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware performance at customer sites
- Assist in investigating problems with MITS hypercube builds and balancing issues
- Provide remote support and training for end users
- Work effectively with clients and internal peers
- Adhere to company confidentiality policy
Experience/Education
- Associate's degree or 2-years technical training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
