Fred Owen named President of Management
Information Tools, Inc.
SEATTLE, WA, January 12, 2006 - Software
visionary and company founder Pat Gilbrough has announced the promotion
of Fred Owen to President of Management Information Tools, Inc.
Pat Gilbrough, who will continue on as board chairman, said “Fred joined
Management Information Tools early in its history, became a partner, and
has been instrumental in its growth and development. It was during this
time that we brought the MITS product line to the forefront of the
Advanced Reporting and Business Intelligence market. Because of his
proven track record of successful business management, his appointment
as President is the next logical step both for him and for the
leadership of the company”.

have the products that we offer. I am delighted that Fred has accepted
the opportunity to apply the same skills and talent used to build our
support, service, and product organizations to the company as a whole”,
Gilbrough continued.
Owen’s prior experience includes business management in retail,
manufacturing, credit and collections and job-shop processing. He brings
relevant experience in software engineering and system development in
many areas including both operations and finance.
